The GSA scholarship program supplies universities with cohorts of highly motivated and experienced international graduate student nurses.

GSA provides the nurses with full nursing scholarships (most commonly MSN scholarships) including books, fees and tuition.

The program lasts multiple years, with the nurses participating in practical training and restricted on-campus employment at a university-affiliated partner hospital throughout the course of the program consistent with applicable visa regulations.

To date more than 150 nurse have entered the program and a 98 percent of participants that have completed the program have graduated.

Many GSA graduates have already returned to their home countries and are working as educators, contributing to the betterment of the nursing profession globally. 

The GSA scholarship program combines a Masters or Bachelors of Science in Nursing (MSN or BSN completion) scholarship at an accredited American university with applied practical experience at a university-affiliated US hospital.

GSA identifies nurse-scholar candidates that:

• Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal English communications
  
• Meet educational program prerequisites including prior education, GPA, etc.
  
• Meet the standards of our university and their affiliated hospital partners
  

GSA assists the university by recruiting and screening prospective students, transcript reviews, verification of credentials, arranging entrance exams, and provides the university with a reliable funding source for the student tuition.
